Freddie Fondue Premieres!

Freddie Fondue screens in Manhattan Beach -

The comedy Produced and Directed by Frank G. Amsden, Screenplay by Frank G. Amsden and Vicky V. Holmes from a story by Joe Adams and Frank Amsden, premiered at a well attended "Four Wall"special screening on July 28th in the South Bay community of Manhattan Beach The short digitaly produced movie tells the tale of a young boy's journey to confidence and self-reliance is set in the quirky and magical world of Freddie Fondue and his fictional family fondue parlor. The film used locations in Long Beach, Redondo Beach and Marina sel Rey.

Freddie Fondue entered at Sundance -

Freddie Fondue was officially submitted to the Sundance Film Festival last week. Hopes are high for a screening at the event coming next January 17 to 27 in Park City, Utah. Other recent festival submissions include the Beverly Hills Film Festival and the San Louis Obispo International Film Festival.

Joe Adams, is the One-Armed Comic. His most recent appearance was July 4th Most Outrageous Moments on NBC. He is also a veteran of the Improv and numerous other comedy venues throughout Southern California. As an actor he has appeared on such shows as Crossing Jordan, Carnivale on HBO, and JAG. and in a variety of film roles. Favorite quote: "That's not the way it really happened."

Angelique Mechel

Atlanta born Angelique Mechel is relatively new to Southern California. Angelique has, however, already established herself as a force with powerful performances in a variety of film and television productions including No More from Lynch Films and live theatre performances.such as Myra Bruhl in Deathtrap directed in Los Angeles by Robert Egizio. She's likes horseback riding, firearms, ice and roller skating as well as tennis, ping-pong and bowling.

Eddie Ed O'Brien

Comedy's "Missing Link", Eddie Ed O'Brien is the founder and host of the locally produced Friday Night Live for more than 10 years. He has appeared in such films as QuadroPink and Elvis Is Alive on T.V. in Unsolved Mysteries and others. Eddie loves comedy characters and voices. He's a baseball player, loves biking and chess and is an expert rifle marksman.

Nara Weakland

Nara Weakland is from Minnesota. Nara's theatre credits include the duaghter in Yes Dear and the Wishing Tree in The Wishing Tree. Film credits include The Mighty Ducks II Her interests include all sports, kickboxing, running, flute, and dancing.
